Nelson Trottier
CEO / Chairman of the Board
Nelson’s 35 years of experience covers all aspects of advertising sales, buying and management. His history in the industry involves launching a television station to running a national media buying agency. His media background includes TV sales in New York, Washington D.C., Cleveland and Cincinnati. In 1986, Nelson joined a large national media planning agency based in Richmond, Virginia and was elevated to President/CEO two years later. Nelson managed that agency until 2005 when he purchased Shark.
Joe Trottier
President
Before joining Shark in 2005, Joe’s advertising/media background included sales, account management and new business development. His experience began in radio sales in Charlotte and he spent over 10 years as an Account Executive managing national packaged goods and retail accounts for a major media buying agency in Richmond, VA. His responsibilities included planning, buying media, post analysis and client service.
Pamela Solvang
Chief Operating Officer
Pamela’s 25 year history in advertising and media includes national and international marketing positions. She spent 10 years as VP/Director of Marketing for media/communications companies based in Seattle, Boston and London. Her experience includes developing and managing marketing departments for major corporations, overseeing creative advertising production and buying media. She is the recipient of 15 major industry awards for advertising and promotion. In 1992, as a former Shark client, Pamela was recruited by Shark to help manage the company.
JoAnn Ebert
Vice President / Senior Account Services Director
JoAnn has been in media sales and management for over 25 years. She began her career in radio sales in the Pacific Northwest. She advanced to managing a regional media rep firm representing over 70 radio stations from Alaska to California and was named a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant by the Radio Advertising Bureau. JoAnn moved into TV sales for major broadcast affiliates in Texas before joining Shark as an Account Executive in 1997. Today, her responsibilities include the management of major national retail accounts at Shark.

Our media department is staffed with experienced industry veterans including our VP/Broadcast Supervisor who has over 25 years experience in planning and buying.
